Bhagavad Gita – Sattva-Rajas-Tamas & Their Transcendence Ch.14 - Day 5
Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha
In this track, Nutan Swamiji reinforces our understanding of the Sankhya yoga, which is our real identity. Sthita-prajnya is a still state of consciousness where knowledge is stabilised, as it has become a knower or seeker’s own self-experience.
Thereon, this world is no longer a contradiction from samadhi state. Such a seeker is very comfortable and perfectly happy in the wakeful state, living the knowledge while interacting with the world. It is not that he doesn’t experience sukha-dukhas, but there is no clinging anymore. Infact, the whole world’s sukha-dukhas become his own. Gone are the raaga-dvesa. He revels in the freedom born of of discrimination and dispassion. He becomes awake to the substratum, the revealer of all instead of the revealed.
