In this Satsang, Nutan Swamiji makes it very clear that Atma in Spirituality is One or Transcendental. Atma transcends both Subject and Object and is the revealer of All. The whole universe, along with our body-mind personality and the astonishing activity that goes on, is but an appearance in Atma. It is this Atma we refer to by the term 'I'.
Swamiji further enlightens us that Atma is ever liberated. So what is the concept of Moksha? Who gets bound and who gets liberated from that bondage? - It is the mistaken identification of 'I' as the body-mind personality, which makes us mortal and bound! The ignorance of our mind and intelligence, is the cause of bondage and it is the affinity towards the desires and traits of the mind, which disturbs us.
By discovering first hand that nothing happens to 'I', by the revealing of manifoldness, we have to take our mind to an untaintable, skylike dimension. By the appearance of sukha or dukha, 'I' neither becomes 'sukhi' nor 'dukhi'. Swamiji says, this Unaffectedness is the crux of moksha in Bhagavad Gita!
