In this global Satsang, Swamiji speaks about the importance of a Guru in the life of a Sadhaka. Chanting verses from Bhagavad Gita and other texts, he says that if a seeker aspires for liberation, he must approach a Guru who is well-versed in the scriptures, who has a personal realization of the Truth and who is always established in Brahman.

Approaching the Knower, a seeker of Truth must humbly offer himself at the feet of the Guru. Offering his services to his Guru, he must seek clarifications for his doubts. The attitude of the disciple must always be one of openness and humility. He must have firm dedication and faith that the teacher would guide him towards the goal of his life.

To such a disciple who has approached him with humility and a yearning to know the Truth, the Guru imparts Brahma Vidya, by which the Supreme Truth will become known and realized. The Guru, by his graceful words, guidance and instructions, helps the seeker cross the ocean of worldliness. He gives the seeker the great gift of fearlessness, by imparting the Supreme wisdom.

When the seeker absorbs and assimilates the knowledge, he is freed of all delusion and ignorance. All the constrictions of the mind disappear and it becomes expansive. Consequently, he is able to see all beings in the Self. Swamiji exhorts all the listeners to repeatedly introspect on the Subject, on which the entire world is subsisting.
