In this short message, Swamiji reminds us that there is a Presence in us which animates and activates our body. We will not come to know this presence unless we stop all other indulgences, interactions and actions and sit in meditation.

In meditation, we may have thoughts, feelings, emotions etc. But we need to persist and find out what produces the thoughts and feelings. Meditation is an exclusive inner mental effort where the mind alone is employed, no other part of the body.

The mind may produce thoughts, feelings etc. which is all a function of the mind. That functioning mind should stop its functions. Then you will realize what functions and that realization will be of the Self.
