Introspection based on Sadhana Chatushtaya - Interactive Session with Nutan Swamiji
#nutanswamiji #enlightenedliving

In this satsang, Nutan Swamiji enlightens us about Sadhana Chatushtaya - the essential qualities of a seeker of truth.

Fitness is an important criterion which our scriptures uphold. Viveka, Vairagya, Sama-Dama aadi shatka sampatti and Mumuksha are the four-four qualifications to attain the Spiritual Goal. These are qualities which we can start practicing in our daily life. As we practice them more and more, we come closer and closer to Atma. This practice of expressing the qualities of Atma in our interactions is so fulfilling that we will no longer be bothered whether we have realised or not. With sincerity, the path itself becomes fulfilling. There is no limit to how much we can develop these qualities.

Viveka is the practice of always taking to Sreyas. When viveka increases, we come to know that 'tyaga' or non-possessiveness is more fulfilling than holding on to objects. While viveka makes us centered, vairagya helps us overcome the outward pull of the world. In reality, all these four-fold virtues are inter linked, when one qualities grows it automatically helps cultivate other qualities. It is a regenerative process. At subtler level the sadhana boils down to looking at our own mind, where it is going and then applying the necessary correction there!
