Taking up spirituality after retirement from professional life is a wrong viewpoint says Swamiji. He shares the examples of young Nachiketas and Prahlada who sought Spiritual enlightenment and refuge at the feet of the Lord.

Spiritual instruction is not relevant only to the old but to the young as well! It makes us a magnificent performer, enjoyer and sufferer. The mind rises to such an exalted position that it is unaffected by fear or negative results.

All activities at every level are propelled and guided by nature through the 3 gunas. As we understand this, there is no ownership, as everything is provided by God. The knower of truth has no ahankara of doership. The ignorant man however sees himself as the doer.

Gunas interacting with Prakriti, propel the individual to act. Nature has its own rhythm and understanding that one is also functioning as part of this nature, the mind becomes expansive and great. A knower sees the world, the society at large as his concern. Elevation of the ego to unlimited expansion makes him the mightiest performer, enjoyer and sufferer.
