In this talk, Swamiji speaks about how it is important that a seeker progresses in devotion. He must have an understanding about the content of devotion, practice of devotion, perfection of devotion, and fulfillment of it. For devotion to become fulfilled there must be enough of knowledge and experience, jnana, and vijnana, and also dispassion towards the perishable things of the world. When one has enough of devotion coupled with dispassion, automatically knowledge and God realization will dawn.

Srimad Bhagavatam describes how Mahavishnu has to be meditated upon. You meditate upon the whole of His form. Then take away the lower parts and focus on the smiling face. When your attention is focused on the smiling face, Bhagavatam says, take away your mind and then engage it in the sky, which is all-pervasive space. And when the mind goes to the sky level, stop thinking at all. Everything should be forgotten.

Swamiji says that Srimad Bhagavatam presents a combination of Bhakti, Virakti and Jnana. The Bhagavata Tattva Sameeksha Satram (held every year in December), is meant for exposing this essence of Bhagavatam which leads to enlightenment.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

वदन्ति तत्तत्त्वविदस्तत्त्वं यज्ज्ञानमद्वयम् ।
ब्रह्मेति परमात्मेति भगवानिति शब्द्यते ।।
