Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha gives a detailed description of the Mahabharata War as narrated by Sanjaya to the blind king Dhritarashtra. By giving a vivid description of the various characters and incidents of this historical event that has been penned by Sage Vedavyasa, Swamiji reiterates that the Bhagavad Gita, which is a part of the Epic Mahabhata, is not a religious text.

The wisdom as imparted by Sri Krishna to the deluded Arjuna showed him how to have mental stability, without unduly rejoicing in success, joy and praise and not getting unduly depressed when confronted with failures, sorrow and insults.

Swamiji asserts that the Bhagavad Gita is not a religious text, but through the dialogue on the war field, Sri Krishna gives the spiritual message of living joyfully in and through all interactions.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

न प्रहृष्येत्प्रियं प्राप्य नोद्विजेत्प्राप्य चाप्रियम् ।
स्थिरबुद्धिरसम्मूढो ब्रह्मविद् ब्रह्मणि स्थितः ।।
