Swamiji says that unless one understands the relationship between devotee and devotion, unless the gap between the two is understood by one’s own mind, God remains infinitely distant.

Swamiji urges seekers to use the thought of God, reliance upon God, faith in God, or association with the Guru, to get rid of undesirable tendencies in the mind and be happy. A seeker must strive to have clear, happy, easy, contented mind, free of all desires and tension.
