The entire world is the manifestation of Self/God. There may be many forms, colour etc, but it is all enveloped by the one Presence, the Self. Why do seekers miss this understanding? Ma says that the main hurdle is that there is a strong differentiation, between spiritual and non-spiritual, in our minds. We fail to see the one presence beneath the entire multiplicity.

The Sadhana of a seeker is to dissolve this differentiation and perceive the Self/Divinity everywhere. To drive home this point, Ma reads and explains certain sections from Poojya Swamiji’s book ‘Prabhata Rashmih’. Swamiji says that in spirituality, the focus must shift from outside to inside. A seeker must purify and integrate the body, mind and intelligence to realize that everything is God/Brahman.

Fulfilment of the pursuit lies in perceiving the one presence in the apparently plural world. The body, mind and intelligence have to undergo disciplines to attain this goal. The discipline is to be attentive and selective about whatever inputs are received by the system. Similarly, one’s words, thoughts, actions and interactions must become more and more disciplined.

Sadhana does not consist in meditation and scriptural learning alone. The Sadhana is to take away from our mind the delusion that there is a self as well as the non-self. The Self is manifest in the whole world and it is a source of perennial joy. To attain the state of permanent joy, a seeker must take to interactional sadhana also. In all interactions, there must be a constant note of sublimation acting in a seeker. In all actions, the mind must be ready to accept all work as a blessing and an opportunity to practice the sadhana of overcoming likes & dislikes, preferences & prejudices. In everything, the same Atmic sublimation should be felt.
