In the 12th chapter, Bhagavad Gita gives us a clear indication that just as the body needs food and nourishment, the mind needs peace and contentment, the intelligence needs knowledge and realization. Superior to all practices is Jnana, which is a dedicated pursuit where the mind and intelligence are applied.

Meditational introspection is superior to Jnana. A seeker must be able to do any kind of work without any stress or strain. That will be possible only when one trains the mind with meditation, and it derives the benefit of meditational sublimity, enlightenment and elevation. Only by introspection, one is able to relinquish clinging to the external results of action. This internal renunciation paves the way for eternal peace and contentment.

Swamiji says that when this Bhagavad Gita message is reflected and ruminated upon properly, it will enable a seeker to perform any work without having the delusional clinging to the objective results.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

श्रेयो हि ज्ञानमभ्यासाज्ज्ञानाद्ध्यानं विशिष्यते ।
ध्यानात्कर्मफलत्यागस्त्यागाच्छान्तिरनन्तरम् ।।

Bhagavad Gita 12.12.
