The Essence of All Scriptures is Non-Dual Knowledge

In the entire Srimad Bhagavatam, what is being spoken about is Jnana (Knowledge), says Swamiji. Although it is considered to be devotional text, it only speaks about Bhakti which leads to Virakti (dispassion) and Bhagavat Prabodhah (Realization of God).

In Bhagavatam, Suta muni is asked to explain the essence of all scriptures. He says, “The knowers of Truth say that the essence of all scriptures and allied texts is the Tattva. It is knowledge, that gives no room for a concept of two or Many. The non-dual knowledge is spoken of differently as: 1) Supreme Reality called Brahman or, 2) Paramatma- which we refer to as ‘I’, 3) Bhagavan or the Supreme Lord Almighty.” This is the message of Srimad Bhagavatam – a book on devotion, which actually discusses only the Knowledge and Realization of the Human Mind and Heart.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

वदन्ति तत्तत्त्वविदस्तत्त्वं यज्ज्ञानमद्वयम् ।
ब्रह्मेति परमात्मेति भगवानिति शब्द्यते ।।

Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.11
