Enrichment through Assimilation of Grief
Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this talk, Swamiji says that everything in this world and life must be undergone wisely with a will and intention. Nobody has ever elevated his life with comforts and laughter. The strength of the mind consists in undergoing sufferings and difficulties.
For every grief in this world, there is a redress and solution. For every question there is an answer. One only lives in the mind and this mind produces grief. The redressal for the grief is in the intelligence. Our intelligence is capable of enquiry, questions, knowledge, discovery and assessment.
Our life in this world is exposed to sufferings which can be mitigated only by Knowledge about the Truth. One should know about what life and death is and what the constitution and course of this world is!
Swamiji says that there is a way of living in this world without being affected by it. He urges us to accept changes, some pleasant and some unpleasant. Our mind has got infinite potential to contain, to receive and assimilate, to be enriched by anything that comes. Our mind becomes best by suffering; Intelligence becomes best by Knowledge.
