Understand that knowledge is the greatest treasure in human life. A man of knowledge is respected everywhere, unlike a wealthy one!

Dear and blessed A:

Harih Om Tat Sat. Your loving birthday greetings (prayers). Good. By offering respects and devotional wishes to elders, to a Swami in particular, you invoke lasting blessings.

I want to tell you something, for you to remember lifelong. You are very well born. To have a good birth is very rare. It is a great fortune. You have exposure to life and its styles in a reputed metropolis like Mumbai. Also, you are studying in a good school. With all this you should have the good sense to make it your duty to study well, giving your full attention and devotion to knowledge. Understand that knowledge is the greatest treasure in human life. A man of knowledge is respected everywhere, unlike a wealthy one!

Do not give any trouble to your mother, father or other elders. They should speak very well of you. Learn to listen to them, making them happy. Cultivate the habit of doing everything, when told just once. It should not be necessary to tell you anything more than once. Such sensitiveness and response makes one worthy, skillful. It will help you grow better, deeper.

Any employer gives great place to character, behavior and values the employee cherishes and lives by. Those of good character, behaviour and values are rated higher than others. They are chosen for the higher positions. Any good company looks for such merited people.

When you come out of an educational institution, you should have ample merit so that prospective employers will seek you. This is what I want.

Have therefore good character. Make sure that your mind and body are under your control. Take exercises regularly. Keep good friends. It is a must.

Be truthful. Share everything with your parents. Do not get distanced from them.

Keep in touch with us here in the Ashram too.

Love and ashirvad. Ma and Naya Swamiji also send you loving good wishes.

Antaraatma,
Swamiji
