In this global Satsang, Swamiji says that Bhagavad Gita is a value treasure, an administrative gospel and its content and message solely relate to the mind and intelligence of the human. Bhagavad Gita is a life gospel which deals with the art and science of interactional life. It teaches a seeker how to live life with sufficient stability, confidence and unaffectedness. So, the Bhagavad Gita message is ever-relevant for a seeker of Truth.

In the battlefield, Arjuna confesses that he is overpowered by grief, constriction and narrow-mindedness and that he is deluded and confused about the proper course of action. He entreats Sri Krishna to show him the path of supreme good and felicity. So, Arjuna become a seeker of Truth in the war field, accepted Sri Krishna as his Guru and became his humble disciple. Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between the enlightened intelligence of Krishna and the deluded mind of Arjuna.

When Arjuna submitted to him thus, Sri Krishna began his spiritual instructions and made Arjuna’s grief itself the subject of discussion. He said that Arjuna was grieving for those who should not be grieved for at all. The wise people do not grieve for the living or the dead. The Self is immortal. There was no time when it was not there and there will never be a time when it will cease to be.

The entire life is a contact between the senses and the objects. This contact between them brings about happiness and unhappiness at the mind level. The whole world produces only these two
responses in the mind—Sukha and Duhkha. They are transitory. One must forbear them. Swamiji exhorts seekers to introspect on sukha and duhkha. By repeated introspection, the effect of duhkha will become feebler and lighter. When the intelligence acts on the mind, all the undesirable effects of the mind will vaporize.
