In this Satsang, Swamiji discusses the key to success and fulfilment in life. Success and fulfilment are notions or concepts in the mind. They both relate to the inner, spiritual factor in us. So, if we want success and fulfilment, we must improve the skill, potential and power of the mind.

The body stops growing at the age of 21. For the rest of one’s life, the mind and the intelligence are supposed to grow. When the mind is enriched and expanded and when the intelligence is made sharp and subtle, success and fulfilment are sure to be attained. The power and potential of our inner personality is immense and infinitely superior to the world.

For a performance to be effective, mind should be freed from the grip of success and failure. If the mind is fearful of failure and is obsessed with success, then the mind is under stress. When you are free of them, the mind becomes expansive and the performance becomes very effective. When work is done remaining connected to the inmost source, the Consciousness, with an integrated mind and intelligence, it is sure to be effective.

Success and failure are pairs of opposites. All opposites create in the mind only two opposites-sukha and duhkha. When freed from the clutches of the opposites, the mind becomes bold, confident. One who is integrated in the intelligence level, is not afraid of failure or obsessed with success and he will live in harmony with anything in the world.

Swamiji urges all to strive wholeheartedly for success and fulfilment and perform all actions well. Working without expectations, one can work effectively and freely. By means of the spiritual learnings, the mind must become flexible to assimilate all of its own responses and impacts. One must also generate outputs like enthusiasm, fervour, courage, will etc., whenever necessary.
