Prabhata Rashmih - The Practice of Sadhana

Be Faithful to Deeksha Sadhana

This Prabhata Rashmih is full of messages for those who have taken Deeksha and those who aspire to seek Deeksha. Swamiji explains that we ought to be committed to and intensify our Deeksha Sadhana. Our lack of intensity and dedication is the reason why we miss the effectiveness and fruition of the Sadhana.

The entire Sadhana is an inner process, whereby we go within our own mind, heart and intelligence. Our aim is to find the source. We are aware of this world only when we wake up, which means that the world, its existence and interaction with the world proceeds from within us. Thus, the focus of enquiry should be within.

The mind is the source of all or any emotion, and so to feel it one has to close the eyes and sit down, without getting into any other subsidiary practice. By patience, tolerance and power of assimilation, the mind will become pure.

The whole sadhana is where the mind is centered, watching the thoughts arising, and dissolving. The initiation given to us will have its desired effect only when one delves within.
