Verse 385, 386

In this Satsang, based on the Vivekachudamani, Swamiji says that a seeker of Truth must have an understanding that he is not the body, but the inlying presence animating and activating the body. The inmost presence is the source of the entire creation. All objects are the display of the one Subject within the body.

Vivekachudamani says that space is interpenetrating everything in the universe. The space is interpenetrating objects like the jar, pitcher, grain container and a needle etc. But these objects do not break the space or affect the space in anyway. What about the sentience within the body which is animating the body? It is One and completely unaffected by anything taking place in the body, mind, intelligence and ego. Knowing and understanding this, a seeker must not be overpowered by any interactional outcome. Instead, his mind must overwhelm all interactional outcomes.

The self is all-pervading. It is one, there can never be a second. All other things, other than the Self, are an illusion. All the limiting adjuncts from Brahma to a blade of grass is illusory and unreal. The sentience is omnipresent—it is presence within the body and everywhere in creation. Therefore, one must realize the Supreme, all-pervading self within oneself.

Swamiji urges the listeners to introspect and understand that the world is a display of the inner presence.
