Ma Gurupriya ji's reflections on Poojya Swamiji's morning messages (Prabhata Rashmih)
Date: 14 October 2024
Venue: Vijnana Bhavana, Narayanashrama Tapovanam

Ma begins by recapitulating last week’s Satsang on ‘Sublimity’. When we consciously have a connection with the soul within (which is the source of everything), we experience a touch of sublimity. The generation of sublimity is the sole purpose of spiritual, as well as religious life. Every small action, interaction, and perception, must give a seeker the touch of sublimity. In this Satsang, Ma reads and explains the Prabhata Rashmih titled ‘Divinity in Everything’.

How to generate divinity within? When we see everything in the world and feel the supreme presence in everything, and feel that the entire earth is Godly and divine, then our whole being gets bathed in divinity. But instead of realizing this divinity in and around us, we build temples, where we install idols and worship them to have a touch of divinity. Because of ignorance, we feel that only temples and pooja shrines are divine.

But as seekers, we must aim to feel the same divinity everywhere. A seeker is sure to feel divinity if he thinks that the consciousness within puts us to sleep and also wakes us up and enables us to do all the activities of the day. The consciousness is the ultimate controller of all things happening in the world, as well as in the individual. The whole life will become divine and sublime when looked at with this comprehensive vision. This divinity is to be generated within.

Because of ignorance, we keep God at a distance and allocate only a few minutes or hours for His thoughts. Ignorance is feeling that there is a division between us and divinity, between us and God. Divinity is everywhere. When we understand this, we will feel divine, peaceful, and sublime. Ma says that a true seeker must introspect and understand that the supreme/God is the master of his life, and he must do everything to please him alone.
