Ma Gurupriya ji's reflections on Poojya Swamiji's morning messages (Prabhata Rashmih)
Date: 10 December 2024
Venue: Vijnana Bhavan, Narayanashrama Tapovanam

In this Satsang, Ma reads and explains a chapter from Poojya Swamiji’s book- ‘Prabhata Rashmih’- Vol 1 (Self-Everywhere). She reiterates that, in and through all actions and interactions, a seeker must realize that it is the same Self everywhere and in everything. The pinnacle of spiritual pursuit consists in attaining the state of uniformity and Oneness.

God/Self interpenetrates the whole creation. He is not affected by all the conflicts and contradictions in the world. Understanding that he is the Self, the seeker must also remain unaffected by the occurrences in the body, mind, intelligence, and the world.

The Self should not be missed in any experience or awareness. When the seeker realizes the Atma within, and perceives it everywhere, he becomes this knowledge and he never falls from the knowledge. This state is the culmination of all pursuit.

What is purity and how can we judge whether we are becoming pure? Purity is when the desires become lesser and lesser and finally become extinct. With the dawning of purity, the ego also steadily declines. To attain purity, the feeling of possessiveness also must decline and finally become extinct. It is through purity alone that the mind attains liberation.

Purity and sublimity must lead to the level of Samatva (equalness), where one perceives the Self in everything and everywhere. Swamiji emphasizes that the same divinity must be experienced in happiness & misery, in calmness & as well as in conflict and agitation.
