Poojya Swamiji, in this episode, discusses the magnificent and mesmerizing figure of Srimad Bhagavatam—Sri Krishna. Sri Krishna is the main personality around whom Srimad Bhagavatam veers.
Quoting very sweet verses from the text, Swamiji says that in the eyes of devotees, Srimad Bhagavatam is the very embodiment of Krishna himself. Associating with the text is, in fact, association with Krishna. It bestows salvation and freedom from this worldly ocean.
Discussing the multi-faceted personality of Sri Krishna, Swamiji says that Sri Krishna is always portrayed as cheerful and smiling. He was ever-resourceful and never refrained from dealing with a challenge.
Swamiji makes us understand that Sri Krishna’s real greatness lies in his inner personality. His knowledge and dispassion were the most notable factors in his personality. His words had the power of bestowing enlightenment to others.
Interpreting a verse, Swamiji says that Sri Krishna represents pure knowledge of the non-dual truth, the supreme Brahman and his mind has an infinite Godly dimension.
