Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha tackles pertinent questions on religion and the mind, in a fully rational and scientific manner, to take us to the fundamental Truth. Whatever religious model we subscribe to, the point is to work back from that model by going inward, back to the Source of everything, the Soul.

Vedanta speaks of nothing that is not experiential. Religious models have a crucial role in society, but we must always remember that no rituals or external practices will take us to the Supreme Truth of our real identity unless we look inward. Just as the rope remains unchanged even when we think it is a snake, so it is with Consciousness upon which we perceive all of creation. And when, with the selfless guidance of our Spiritual Masters, we understand that this unchanging Consciousness is who we really are, we remain stable and fearless in every situation.
