In this talk, Swamiji says that the body is animated and activated by the power within. The power of animation can be felt only in our living body. Thus, the focus of a seeker must be within. This animating power is the Self, indicated by the term ‘I’. Our shastras are verdicts of the people who have gone into this subject.

A seeker must read the shastras, which are guides and pointers to him and he must never doubt them. He must have a frame of mind that accepts all revelations of the shastras as true, enriching, benevolent, wholesome and endearing. How we receive the shastras is most important. We must read them, learn them and understand and actualize them.

Every statement of the shastras must be considered as pointers. One must delve deeply into the meaning and import of the statements and try to fully understand them. When we see the shastras as the most dependable, caring, endearing revelations, then our progress will be meteoric on this path!

Shlokas Chanted in the Track:

अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ।।
