Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this audio, Swamiji stresses on the importance of understanding one’s own mind and bringing about improvements in one’s own mind.
The fundamental principle in improving one’s own mind is: “Do not entertain or cherish any kind of a bad thought.” Any kind of a bad thought, no matter whether it is about oneself or the others, is bad and that spoils the mind. We may dislike wickedness, but we cannot hate people who are wicked. We may dislike and disapprove of bad, but we cannot dislike and disapprove of criminals. All people have a right to exist in the world and we have to give them a place in our mind.
