Prabhata Rashmih – The Unique Philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita

Do Not be Judgmental About the World

Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

  • Do Not be Judgmental About the World

    Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Discussing Bhagavad Gita, Swamiji says that the entire creation is moving in a cycle. One has to be a lover and devotee of the supreme power and potential that is at the back of the entire creation. The creation may have a number of anomalies, contradictions and conflicts. The whole world is evolving and dissolving consistently. There should be only one attitude to everything, “Don’t question it, appreciate it. Don’t fight with it, be in harmony with it”.

One has to understand that God is at the back of everything. He is at the back of good, bad, gentleness, cruelty, compassion and intolerance. Everything is a part of this wonderful, wholesome creation. So, one has to take the mind away from all kinds of conflicts and try to find the harmony in everything. We have to find God in everything.

One has to try not to be judgmental about whatever takes place in the universe. There may be accidents, upheavals, earthquakes and volcanoes. We just have to accept it and be in harmony with it.
