Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this talk, Swamiji speaks about the evolution of society through various Yugas. He says that the Bhagavad Gita is the sustained and sustainable outcome gradually evolved in our country as a cultural thought process and outcome.
The complexity of human nature is maximum evidenced in the mind, its tendencies, habits, responses, reactions, predilections and the like and the ability of the intelligence to argue and arrive at facts and truths every time. The human society is also complex and is subject to transition, transformation, reformation, refinement. The society is never static. Goodness and wickedness come and go in a cyclic manner.
In the Krita Yuga, all people were happy and contented. Slowly after that, corruption crept into the society and there was a degeneration. In this present Kali Yuga, Swamiji urges everyone to introspect and go forward. We can become good, great and glorious because we carry a great heredity.
