Poojya Swamiji says that this culture has got a lot of religious beginning, but it proceeds and ends up with philosophy and spirituality. He illustrates this statement by tracing the progress of our religion through several anushthanas, proceeding through the understanding that all anushthanas are actually mento-intellectual efforts, and finally culminating in the cardinal values of spirituality – viveka, vairagya, and the six-fold virtues that are the bedrock of spirituality.
