Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this talk, Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha exhorts us humans to cultivate the noble qualities of the intelligence and mind by removing all negativities, making it golden, heavenly.
A seeker must have the will and resolve to invoke this potential, the mind sensitive to uplift itself and direct the sense organs for transforming its character, behaviour and interactions in an enriched, joyous, wholesome manner.
The seeker must navigate the mind from the emotionally dejected, aggrieved state due to the variegated impacts of the external world and center itself within, to the zero position which is eternal, imperishable, impersonal and unaffected by all the different, diverse external impacts.
Swamiji quotes the same wisdom as imparted to the grieving Arjuna by Sri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita, to Rama by Guru Vasistha in the Yoga Vasistha, to Pareekshit by Sukadev in Srimad Bhagavatam and by the scholar Vishnusharma to the royal, unwise princes through the Panchatantra.
