Swamiji says that the only factor that counts in our human life is our mind. All interactions are experienced in the mind. The interaction is designed and implemented by the mind and the consequences are also experienced by the mind. In sadhana, what matters is the attitude that governs our actions.
The Gunas of Prakriti constantly demand that we remain active. Our choice lies in doing everything without sanga (delusional clinging). One must work without ego or delusional clinging.
Whatever be the activity or interaction we are given to, we must do it as an archana (offering) of the Supreme reality. The Lord is the one from where all creation has proceeded and is permeated by, so a seeker must abide in this beautiful, surrendered attitude that it is all One Consciousness. By this worship, one understands that all external manifestations inhere in one’s own within.
Whatever be the nature of work, the attitude and the aim of that action should be: Ego and egocentric actions should stop, and one must feel that everything is God, and the entire world is His manifestations alone.
Shlokas chanted in the Track:
तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर ।
असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पूरुषः ।।
Bhagavad Gita 3.19
यतः प्रवृत्तिर्भूतानां येन सर्वमिदं ततम् ।
स्वकर्मणा तमभ्यर्च्य सिद्धिं विन्दति मानवः ।।
Bhagavad Gita 18.46
