Make Interactions Equal to Meditation
Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this talk, Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha ji speaks about his Gurudev and his love and fondness for him. He says that the process of learning becomes very easy and fascile when there is a fervour to absorb the knowledge from the teacher.
Bhagavad Gita emphasizes that the interactional life of a seeker must be sublimated. For true liberation, all negative elements of the personality have to be taken away from interactions. All interactions should proceed from love. For this, one must start developing benevolent qualities which are stimulating,
and expansional in character.
The wakeful, interactional period should become a complement to the meditational absorption. This will be absolutely possible provided one is able to make the mind free, pure, loving, interested in the welfare of others. The success of life depends upon how to make the non-meditational interactional life equal to what one has in a meditative absorptional state. The interactions must not bother us. Instead, when interactional outcomes are assimilated, they must become an enrichment.
The Shlokas chanted in the Track:
सर्वस्थोऽहमकर्तेति दृढभावनयानया ।
प्रवाहपतितं कार्यं कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते। ।।
