Mind alone causes likes and dislikes
Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this message, Swamiji discusses the subject of the mind. We often find that the mind is gripped by desire and hatred. We have to understand that when we dislike somebody, it is not the object or person we dislike. The dislike is arising from our own mind.
A seeker must strive to float over his own likes and dislikes. He has to understand that the mind is responsible for the likes and dislikes and the consequent pleasure and displeasure. The object comes next, Mind comes first and spirituality takes one to a level where the mind will be joyous and peaceful, looking at everything, meeting everything, undergoing everything.
