Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
Swamiji speaks about the mind, which is the only significant factor. Mind cognizes the body and the mind alone cognises the world.
Whatever arises or emerges in the mind in the form of thought, emotion, knowledge, memory, response, reaction, everything is a mind creation. There is nothing that is besides the mind, beyond the mind, aside the mind. Whatever emerges in the mind, that as a content and as a substance is not different from the mind substance.
Swamiji elaborates that from non-thinkingness, a thought arises. Thinking is also followed by the same non-thinkingness. Whatever was the unthinkingness, the same becomes thoughtful and it is also followed by the same unthinkingness. So in substance, there is nothing in the thought process other than what was there before the thinking started.
So, Swamiji urges seekers to go into the thought process and lead the mind to mindlessness. This is the pinnacle of Self-Realizational Sadhana.
