Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
Discussing the Ashtavakra Samhita, Swamiji tells us what True Knowledge is, who is a true knower and because of this knowledge of the Self, what should be the basis and character of one’s thinking, speaking and instruction etc.
There is something different from the body called the Soul. By constant discrimination on the body and the soul, any kind of a difficulty, torment which the body faces can be dissolved.
Through the process of meditation, the mind becomes still. But during the non- meditational hours of the day, interactions continue to bring about its impacts. How to assimilate and dissolve the impacts? This enquiry leads a seeker to become a seeker of Spiritual Wisdom. Bhagavad Gita speaks about how a yogi, a Jnani, or Devotee should conduct himself in the world.
When one understands the Soul and its fullness, it doesn’t permit anything else at all. The soul alone Is! The seeker must dissolve all notions of plurality and differentiation. This dissolution should be a continuous and an incessant experience even during interactions and activities.
