Purity is the Essence of Spirituality

In this track, Swamiji exhorts seekers to do regular introspection about the life we lead, the work we do, the desires we have fostered and the ones we have resisted and about the reactions and responses the mind has produced from time to time. A thorough examination will reveal to us whether a particular quality is there in us or not.

Purity is a very important quality that we need. Every quality proceeds from purity and converges into it. When one is pure one has an inner strength and people have to honor it, recognize it. A pure mind has 100% loyalty and reliance upon God.

Swamiji urges all of us to become pure in our thoughts, in how we dress, in what we eat, in our habits, in everything we do. By telling us what purity is and how to cultivate it, he says that all other qualities are revolving around ‘Purity’. When we understand it, we will automatically become pure and want to become more pure.
