Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this track, Swamiji emphatically states that any extent of spiritual pursuit in an austere and ascetic background will not have any purpose unless one penetrates into one’s own mind and makes the mind pure, sublime, harmonious and expansive during the interactional life.
The whole of life, one is faced with either pleasant or unpleasant situations. Bhagavad Gita says that a seeker has to strive to remain afloat when faced with either of them and remain stable-minded. The Sadhana is to equip oneself to meet all likes and dislikes effectively.
Bhagavad Gita also says that from the time of creation man has been gripped by love and hatred. The seeker must sublimate the influence of these two factors on his personality. The real Sadhana of a seeker is to tame the mind and remove all the dross from it and make it abundant and fulfilled.
