Swamiji says that Bhagavad Gita is to be taken up as a research. It is not a religious book but a dialogue which revived the spirits of Arjuna and propelled him to fight the war. Arjuna’s confusion and lack of clarity regarding his Dharma was redressed by Krishna.
Krishna explains that death is not an extinction but a transition. Life is eternal, the Soul in us is ever-present. Sukha and dukha are inevitable. We must evenize them in our mind and raise ourselves above them.
In Karma Yoga, Sri Krishna says that a seeker’s intelligence must have a resolute note. Buddhi must have a conviction about life, the world and the goals. Karma yoga siddhanta is a result of vyavasatmika buddhi. A seeker must have a resoluteness, which is firm and unflickering. There must be an integration of the personality, as a result of which all the distractional thoughts and wavering thoughts will be resolved
Swamiji says that the Gita is a complete analysis of the human personality, and everything concerning human life. The Bhagavad Gita is a full science by itself. Bhagavad Gita is a research process and a seeker must continue to research and understand its applicability. He must understand its beneficial, elevating, and enlightening role in our lives.
