Association with wise and holy people, is satsanga says Poojya Swamiji. We see the fleeting world through our mind, body and intelligence. This world must have an unfleeting substratum or support in our own personality. We live uniformly with all changes of the mind and body, yet the ‘I’ presence is not changeful. The ‘I’ remains singular and unchanging, hosting the changes. So, the enquiry into ‘I’ becomes inevitable.
In satsanga, this is what is exposed – the Sat, the supreme reality which remains uniform and is the unvanishing substratum. This enquiry sharpens our intelligence, purifies our mind and brings about a reformation in our senses. We must have a persevering mind and use our intelligence to go deeper with our inquiries and questions.
The aim of Satsang is to be better performers in life. Being heroic and a master of the world, not a slave, concludes Swamiji.
