Prabhata Rashmih - Where lies True Dharma

  • The Rationality of Hindu Dharma

    Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

Speaking about Hindu Dharma, Swamiji says that our Dharma is completely rational. it has got the intrinsic characteristic of sustaining and enabling the human mind.

Hindu dharma doesn’t allow us to preclude or exclude anybody in the world. Whether we believe in God or do not believe in God, both of them are immaterial. What matters is that we have to be humane, loving, considerate, accommodating, be useful to others and we must be joyous. Being joyous, we should also try to make others joyous. Our Dharma says: “Whatever you consider to be unacceptable to you or painful to you, do not extend it or inflict it on others”.

Shlokas chanted in the Track:

युक्तियुक्तं प्रगृह्णीयात् बालादपि विचक्षणः
अन्यच्च तृणवत् त्याज्यं अप्युक्तं पद्मयोनिना

(Yogavaasishtha Ramayana)
