Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
Swamiji urges seekers to evaluate the purpose of life.
The entire effort of a human is to get away from his ‘sva’ (selfishness) and to incorporate in him ‘para’ (for the sake of others). Our whole body is meant to serve the others. A seeker must develop in himself the virtues of compassion, consideration and commitment. Every time the selfishness should dissolve and consideration for others should adorn one’s mind. One must lead the life enriched by non-possessiveness. We are members of the society, citizens of the country and citizens of the world. This expansion of the mind and heart, it can be had and displayed only by the human. So, one must take to a life of sharing and sacrifice.
