Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
Swamiji says that spirituality is an experiential science. As perceivers, we give the objective reality to the world. The mind is subjective and all experiences are in this subjective sphere.
We perceive the earth, water etc. Similarly, we know that we have a body. This knowledge emerges inwardly in the mind. Just as light illumines objects, the ‘I’ illumines the presence of the body and the presence of the world.
Waking up, employing the senses and then perceiving the world – this perception is within the mental plane. The entire world is floating in our mind. In sleep this is confirmed repeatedly and the world is reduced to nothing.
This knowledge makes a man full, like the ocean with vastness and depth. This knowledge can become a source of abundance and enrichment, concludes Swamiji.
