Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha
In this track, Swamiji emphasizes that the spirituality is not just supposed to be one of absorption in meditation. Meditation and absorption are necessary to understand one’s own personality, its subtle complex nature, also the presence of the Self different from the body, matter and energy. But, one cannot always be sitting in meditation and absorption. One has to be active and interactive in the world.
True spirituality is to make one functional and interactional but while being so, one has to be free from ego, possessiveness and desire. When they are removed and set right, the mind become a beautiful, serene flow from which good thoughts, good actions and good interactions follow.
Shlokas chanted in the Track:
विहाय कामान्य: सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निस्पृह: ।
निर्ममो निरहङ्कार: स शान्तिमधिगच्छति ॥
Bhagavad Gita 2.71
