This 5-day discourse was given by Ma Gurupriya at Narayanashrama Tapovanam in Kerala.
In this talk, Ma introduces Srimad Bhagavatam- the scripture of Supreme Devotion. She soulfully narrates the story of King Pareekshit and the circumstances which led to him being cursed by the Rishi’s son.
Pareekshit seeks to know what a human, facing imminent death, should do. In reply to this fundamental question, Suka Deva starts relating the Glories and exploits of the Lord and the stories of Supreme Devotees. Narrating this story, Ma highlights the need and importance of growing one pointed devotion for Krishna -The Indweller of our very being.
She reassures us how constant remembrance of Krishna's form and qualities will enable us to imbibe those very qualities. The talk brings alive the circumstances before Little Krishna's birth and the vivid description by Ma transports us to those times and makes us a happy participant in the event.
