Ma Gurupriyaji continues the discussion on vasanas (desires) – that are to be completely eliminated. The unbroken aspiration to realize the Truth removes all worldly desires, eventually leading us to transcend our perishable embodied identity and merge with our real imperishable Self.
Ma reminds us how blessed we are, having so many avenues available to us, for listening to and immersing in this Truth. At the same time, a sobering reminder that we must not take this gift for granted – we must be serious, steadfast and fully committed to this pursuit. When we give this Supreme Knowledge the Supreme position, we become that Knowledge.
Ultimately we must constantly look into our own mind and intelligence, all its modifications, be vigilant to all impurities and apply self-effort to be free of them. With Ma’s loving, motherly guidance, and the illuminating words of our scriptures, we continue to move along this glorious path. And all the while, at every point, fully aware that we are seekers.
