Why do we dread death? Because we want permanence, and want to continue enjoying whatever we enjoy now, says Swami Nirviseshananda Tirtha in this thought-provoking Satsang. Self is not an object to be attained. As we have been repeatedly told by the scriptures and our Wise Teachers, we are already THAT. To realize this Truth we need to remove whatever is covering it – our desires, constrictions, preferences and prejudices. All of which stem from ignorance of our real identity, the Atma. Grace of our Spiritual Masters bestows clarity, and inspiration to purify our minds so we can finally see the Truth of who we really are, Consciousness in which subsists the entire perceptible creation.
