Through the next set of verses commencing from 7 up to 11, Nutan Swamiji discusses in detail the 8-fold Prakriti, also referred to as the Kshetra in chapter 13.
Swamiji explains that we are immortal and an Ansha (a part) of the Supreme. He instructs us to revel in the self illuminating abode (the Revealer) rather than focusing on all that is revealed. The mind has immense potential and we must use it to recognise our true nature through constant introspection, says Swamiji.
Swamiji recapitulates the earlier verses, which expound the perishable nature of the sansaara vriksha (World tree) and the worldliness that traps us. Increasing unaffectedness by constant practice, wholesome enquiry and cultivating the pure qualities are once again touched upon in this talk.
Swamiji further discusses about the Supreme self by giving us a tangible example of electricity that manifests in many names and forms and is yet untouched by any of them. We are all children of immortality and we must recognise the unaffectedness of the self. Swamiji exhorts all seekers not to get stuck in the enjoyments of this world but dissolve the knots of ignorance, apply Viveka moment to moment and realize one’s true identity.
