Scriptural verses discuss various aspects of life, mind, Self, Dispassion etc. They emphasize the need to develop a vibrant mind and perceptive intelligence, says Swamiji.

The human mind has great potential. A seeker can treat all the stress and tension of life by closing the eyes, observing the mind, and allowing the stress to dissolve. One should produce the required output necessary to do any work and one should be able to assimilate all the impacts produced from time to time and then confidently go forward. This is the only formula to live in the world. The constant Sadhana is to enrich the mind through all interactions. Spirituality is meant to enlighten the intelligence and empower the mind.

Bhaja Govindam highlights the importance of seeking refuge and protection in the Lord, in and through life's uncertainties. It warns against excessive indulgence and attachment to wealth, relatives, and youthfulness, as they are impermanent. The pursuit of spiritual knowledge and realization of the self is the only way to find joy and contentment.

Days, weeks, months and seasons pass but the desire and greed in the mind of man does not abate. Man is lost in worldliness and it is the enlightened Mahatmas who show him the path of auspiciousness. The text criticizes those who may have renounced externally but have failed to
realize the Supreme Truth. The only remedy to the disease of worldliness is taking refuge in the divine and treating the mind to overcome desires.
