Straightforwardness seems like such a simple, “straightforward” quality. Ma Gurupriya takes us through the deeper levels of this virtue, and shows not only how indispensable it is for a true disciple, but also how closely linked it is with so many other virtues.
To be straightforward is to express ourselves in the most pure and natural manner. It is not about being blunt, rather about behaving in a refined and effective manner where our thoughts, words and actions are all in complete harmony with each other. As we pursue one quality, we find so many others must grow along with it – humility, non-expectation and being non-hurting are just a few. How amazing it is that one quality can be taken to such an expanse, to form a wholesome sadhana. And how blessed are we having this Knowledge given to us in the most beneficial and practical manner, by our loving Spiritual Masters.
