For a seeker, the knowledge of the Self is only a stepping stone towards the goal. To progress further on the path, the mind and intelligence has to constantly dwell on God, until finally discovering God as the one unmistakable presence everywhere.

But how can the mind dwell on God, while remaining active in the world? Ma enlightens us that exclusive love for God alone can make this possible. The Gopikas of Vrindavan, performed all their daily chores with great care, yet their minds were ceaselessly immersed in thoughts of Krishna - their hearts brimming with joy and contentment.

Ma says this is an ideal for any seeker. We should do all our activities well, but as an offering, for the pleasure of the Lord alone. The devotee who does all activity with full reliance in God, by his Grace, attains the imperishable abode!
