In this talk, Swamiji continues to discuss the Yajna Bhava Sadhana and ‘The model of the Creation’. Through slide presentations he explains the difficult concepts presented in the shlokas.
Swamiji stresses how these models are prescribed to expand and purify the mind, make it desireless and to have a comprehensive universal attitude. To reinforce this point, Swamiji describes the Guna based Model, in great depth, quoting verses from the 14th Chapter of the Bhagavad Gita. He highlights the fact that all these models are prescribed only as the means to take us back to Ultimate auspicious goal.
With his own scientific knowledge, Swamiji explains all the subtle messages, also taking verses from the 18th Chapter. Karma is never a hindrance to Self Realization, provided it is done with the Yajna bhava, says Swamiji.
Discussing verses 17 and 18, Swamiji explains how a Knower performs all actions, being established in the Self. All his actions are Kriyas and create no bondage. The Self Realized Master is ever active, joyfully performing only for Loka Sangraha(welfare of the society). All his activities are from a Universal, Societal dimension, to bring everyone back to the Supreme Goal. Swamiji concludes by taking the examples of Raja Rishis like Janaka to elucidate this aspect.
