In this talk conducted during the second Global Bhagavad Gita Convention, Nutan Swamiji explains how the discovery of our real identity solves all problems in life.
There exists an inherent feeling of insufficiency in us, due to which we always look outside for happiness. Swamiji enlightens us that it is only when we don't expect anything from anywhere, that we become the happiest! Joy and placidity is the very nature of our Self, but we are unable to experience it due to the agitations caused by desire and fear.
Swamiji tells us that objective results are not the cause of suffering, it is our associating of results with the Subject which creates problem. The objective result of an action cannot be avoided, so we only have to take away the 'I will become happy by doing this' expectation from our actions. The skill lies in doing everything with Yoga Buddhi - buddhi anchored in the Soul.
